How I build Agentforce agents: new write-ups on the site
Announcement 6 Oct 2026
The website has been refreshed, and the important part is what is now on it. Each project in the Showcase now has an in-depth write-up of how I built it: the design decisions, what went wrong and how I fixed it, and what I would tell another team.
- NoteMate: how I tested the agent against prompt injection before building any screens
- AccessMate: why removing access is not the same as access being gone
- VisitMate: why it has its own chat window, and why "needs, not types" shaped the design
- ProjectMate: confirming the exact change, and lessons from agent activation
There is also a new page on how I work with Agentforce, for organisations thinking about their own agents.

Introducing VisitMate
Project 6 Oct 2026
Next in the Mates Series and my October entry for the Agentforce In Action challenge: three Agentforce agents that tell each tenant exactly what will happen at their repair visit, remember how they like visits done, and brief the engineer. It records what someone needs, never why.

Winner of the Road to DF Quest
Announcement 5 Oct 2026
I have been selected as a winner of Trailhead's Road to DF Quest, with a Trailblazer prize box on its way. It joins my earlier wins in the Agentforce Vibes Quest and the Serviceblazer Quest: Field Service Edition.
Introducing NoteMate
Project 30 Sep 2026
My entry for the Agentforce In Action challenge: an Agentforce agent that reads the notes your team already writes and suggests CRM updates, each backed by evidence from the note. Nothing changes until a person approves it.

Introducing AccessMate
Project 18 Aug 2026
Governed, time-limited access to sensitive Cases through Agentforce. Ask for access "until next Monday at 1pm" and AccessMate applies the policy, gets approval, grants access, removes it on time and checks it has really gone.

Introducing ControlMate
Project 17 Jul 2026
The second Salesforce Mate: an Agentforce governance assistant that runs scheduled sweeps, records evidence for each finding and emails a daily digest to the people who need to act.

Introducing TriageMate
Project 30 Jun 2026
The first of my Salesforce Mates: an Agentforce assistant that turns vague Salesforce change requests into clear, prioritised work requests, using a triage playbook held in Data 360.

DecisionGuard at the TDX 2026 hackathon
Events 20 Apr 2026
At TDX 2026 in San Francisco, my two-person team built DecisionGuard: Agentforce guardrails that step in when a seller submits a risky quote, with approvals handled in Slack and every intervention measured in Tableau. We didn't win this time, but we came away with a working build.

Announcement 18 Mar 2026
I was selected as a winner of Trailhead's Agentforce Vibes Quest, with a TDX 2026 pass to San Francisco as the prize. For my entry I wrote my own prompt and used Agentforce Vibes to build a Lightning Web Component from scratch. A few days later I also won the Serviceblazer Quest: Field Service Edition.
